Jordan Wine Estate invited Suheena and me to attend their annual harvest lunch for media and wine club members on Monday, 9 February 2026. On an unusually rainy day, we gathered at The Cellar Door's deck and tasting room. Here, we enjoyed Jordan Assyrtiko 2025 and Jordan Rose 2025 as welcome drinks, overlooking the wine farm's stunning views of the dam, vineyards and mountains. Gary and Kathy Jordan, the owners of Jordan, welcomed us and talked about the 2026 vintage and the latest developments on the estate. Next, we went over to the wine cellar for a cellar tour and a tasting of fresh must made from Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Afterwards, we were led to Jordan's large barrel cellar, where a walk-around wine tasting and a delicious harvest table-style lunch awaited.
