I have become a bit of a brandy fan, usually sipping it with ice! And so was intrigued to be invited to the opening of the Klipdrift Brandy visitors centre at Van Ryn's Brandy home near Stellenbosch. Brandy has also become synonymous with cocktails these days, and there were some zingy and delicious options available to enjoy and are rather too delicious! I love the names too - Kliptwist, Gold Fashioned and Golden Oasis - all very morish. Look out for rugby-watching opportunities at Van Ryns and Klipdrift... a great place to chill.
